Several years ago my life changed totally and quickly. My aorta exploded, leading to 6 major strokes, the last of which was fatal. I clearly did not stay dead but they left me with profound physical challenges. I am a stubborn SOB so I keep going.

My life has 3 areas of focus, each with a matching disability. First is my writing even though I am now mostly blind. I have done 10 books and have 2 more coming this year. I publish them myself and rely on word of mouth to sell them. My second focus is helping people heal from PTSD. I currently run a support group even though my voice is fucked up. My pastor and I have done a book on this together and hope to spread these all over. My third focus is, unlikely enough, teaching Tai Chi. My form sucks but I believe strongly in it. I never take money for my PTSD work or my teaching.
